Stella

I didn't think we would be back here again, waiting and praying for Stella as she fights to get well in the pediatric ICU. She was readmitted to PICU after and echo showed narrowing of her vessels connected to her heart. She is a fighter that's for sure, she has shown amazing resiliencein all of this. Due to the strain on her heart and her body not getting enough O2 Stella was placed on the ventilator then on Ecmo (a form of bypass). She had her second grueling open heart surgery yesterday. Currently she is off bypass (ecmo) but still on the vent. Today we are waiting as she is being put on a peritoneal dialysis catheter as her kidneys are struggling. After this procedure her heart surgeon is placing a tube her stomach to drain fluid that is building up. Her condition is still critical, but we have seen how strong this sweet baby is, and know God is faithful. Please pray with us for her healing and recovery.
