Scott and I are doing well, still busy as ever but having fun. Cross country season is in full swing now and so Scott is busy with training and meets, his team is doing really great this year and he is enjoying being their head coach. I am still living and breathing school, and still in my internship. Its been challenging as I work within the child welfare system. I have moments when all I can do is pray and moments when I get the privilege to see a kid be successful in life again after treatment. I like my job, and I hate my job, there are times that I am helpless and if you know me you know that being helpless is not a comfortable place for me to be. I have learned to really pray and surrender my clients well-being to God. I have realized over the last 4 months that God has placed me in a profession that requires me to constantly on my knees, and you know what....its not such a bad place to be :)
And here is one of our weekend projects: we finally did our guest bathroom. Now all we have left if to get to our bathroom and paver the backyard......hopefully it will get done by the end of the year!
And as for the kiddos:
Garrett is now in a big boy bed and doing great...and as you can see he loves it!
He is also potty trained...woo hoo no more diapers!
Check out that belly....Reagan thinks there is a baby in there, she asked the other day "Garrett when is your baby coming?" hmmm....
Reagan is still my little Sass, she is all about being a little helper, art projects and having "girl time" with mommy.
I am going to continue to brag b/c I am just so proud...Reagan learned to spell her name and is working on learning to write it.
I have a total preschooler on my hands!
She also LOVES the cabin and exploring the woods, last time we were up there she was able to see some deer, a blue jay, and a humming bird. I love seeing her be able to learn in a natural environment!
