SCRIPPS

 

Garrett was scared of the lobster @ first....it was pretty funny to watch him try and figure out what it was.

 

SCRIPPS is part of UCSD oceanography school, its an aquarium run by the school on the cliffs of La Jolla....its awesome! Lots of hands on stuff for the kids, tide pools and a fake tide pool play area outside on this deck that over looks the cove.  It has become a must hit every time we are in San Diego!

My little girl is not a fan of water....in any form....so the fact that she was brave and put her feet into the ocean was a huge deal for her.....way to go baby girl!

Island Fun

We stayed on Coronado Island so we thought it would be fun to take the ferry across to the main land...the kids loved it...of course and the boat ride was another first for Garrett!

Our friends happend to be in San Diego too so they joined us for a day on the beach!

We just got home from San Diego we had a fun fill week with the Thomas side of the family.  I have a ton of pics so I thought I would do them in parts.  This was one of our days at the beach, both kids LOVED playing in the sand and splashing in the water!
